Sheridan Training Videos
This was a CO-OP position.
The project consisted of working on training videos for TV studio equipment such as cameras, switcher, playback, etc.
My role initially was that of director and videographer, where I was responsible for directing and shooting videos on different equipment on different days. Equipment included green screen chroma keying, cameras for making test videos for exams, the switcher, playback, tutorial videos on iNews, audio equipment such as lavs, miking talent, the audio board, audio playback tools, and more.
Initially, my role consisted simply of directing and videography; I later branched into editing and post-sound work in order to speed up workflow.
My adaptability, flexibility, and knowledge came in handy when working on edits for certain videos with my team. This allowed us to speed up workflows, and if issues arose, it gave me the edge to ensure I could work effectively with my group to resolve them.
